A long movie that lays down the story layer by layer. You are engrossed by the end but it is slow to start. Enjoyable and uplifting

A beautiful story for all ages, Toby Maguire is excellent, the background narration, sets a fantastic mood of the times, The Depression.
A great story of hope and belief in all things will come good, doesn't have all the usual over the top antics you get with American movies

Based on a true story, and story centers around a horse, but surprisingly the movie is not boring. It's a story of lives rebuilt during the Great Depression, and not casting aside those who have some imperfection. Good characters. A feel-good movie.
